Dan Beltramo — CEO and Co-Founder Dan brings a unique blend of advertising, technology, and data business experience to bear as CEO of Vizu Corporation. Prior to founding Vizu, Dan was vice president of marketing at Instill Corporation a supply chain and market data business serving the food and restaurant industries where clients included Coca Cola, P&G, Nestle, General Mills Subway, Yum! Brands, Dr. Pepper, etc. Dan joined Instill from the Clorox Company where he had spent several years managing various consumer product brands representing over $500 million in sales including Armor All, Fresh Step, Hidden Valley, Jonny Cat and KC Masterpiece. Dan started his career as a management consultant for the LEK Partnership, where he worked with start–ups and global enterprises.
Dan graduated with an undergraduate degree in Decision Analysis from Stanford University and earned his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Nick Rau — CTO Nick is responsible for all product development and engineering at Vizu and has more than a decade of experience in leading software development projects/teams. Currently, Nick is focused on developing an advanced, real-time brand advertising measurement platform. Previously, Nick spent seven years at Modem Media / Digitas, a leading Internet marketing strategy and services firm, and was responsible for the technology practice on the West Coast. He has a strong understanding of high traffic/highly scalable web platforms, user interfaces, data systems, and digital media technologies, and has worked on all of the Internet’s highest traffic websites.
Nick graduated with a BS in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign and received a MS in electrical engineering and computer science from the University of California at Berkeley.
Sean O'Neal — President/CRO Sean is in charge of all sales and revenue initiatives for Vizu Corporation. Mr. O'Neal was previously a member of the founding team at Datran Media, a digital marketing technology company, where he served as both the Chief Revenue Officer and the Chief Marketing Officer for over eight years. In this role, he was responsible for all sales and corporation marketing functions, assisted in raising over $60 million in equity investments, helped mange M&A transactions with nine companies, and launched multiple product lines. Previously, Sean was a business development Director for Sony where he managed strategic partnerships for the Sony Online Entertainment division, and prior to that spent several years building one of the premier new media brands, CDNow.com. Sean got his start holding various positions at full-service advertising agencies and also maintained a successful marketing consulting practice working with major entertainment and media companies from LA to New York.
Sean is a graduate of Northeastern University.
Bill Jaris — SVP Sales With over 20 years of years of advertising, media and marketing experience, Bill brings a valuable mix of industry know-how to the Vizu team. After a successful career in advertising sales with Time Inc., Times-Mirror and the Hearst Corporation, Bill transitioned to interactive advertising as Executive Vice President and founding member for @plan Inc, the pioneering internet market research company that was acquired by DoubleClick. Additionally, he was Vice President and Director of Business Development at Tacoda, the behavioral targeting company acquired by AOL in 2007. Most recently, Bill was New Business Development Director at Acerno Inc, the predictive marketing and e-commerce database company.
Bill is a graduate of Holy Cross College.
Jeremy Longinotti — VP Business Development Jeremy joined Vizu after 3 years at Yahoo! where he ran business development and revenue strategy for the Yahoo! Front Page, the Internet’s most-visited page, and My Yahoo!, the #1 personal start page on the Web. At Yahoo! he also managed strategic technology partnerships for Yahoo! Local search and Yahoo! Maps. Prior to Yahoo!, Jeremy managed Internet infrastructure portfolio company investments for Raza Foundries and Infinity Capital. As an early member of the Cisco Systems M&A team, Jeremy was involved in 15 investment and acquisition transactions that helped Cisco build its product line and technical leadership. He started his career advising financial services and manufacturing companies at Braxton Associates. Jeremy has over 10 years experience developing successful business strategies and closing a wide variety of strategic partnerships, vendor contracts, investments and acquisitions in technology and Internet companies.
Jeremy earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering sciences from Dartmouth College and holds an MBA as a Haas Merit Scholar from the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley.
Jeff Smith – VP Solutions Jeff is responsible for Marketing, Client Services, and Operations at Vizu, with a focus on growing revenue from both new and existing customers. Prior to joining Vizu, Jeff was Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Keibi Technologies, a leading provider of social media optimization solutions for companies leveraging user generated content to drive consumer engagement, where he tripled the companies revenues and helped create a new paradigm for deriving value from and monetizing social media. Jeff’s accomplishments, which range from managing new product launches into domestic and international markets for the world’s second largest software company, Oracle Corporation, to driving the growth of multiple new ventures from inception to ultimate acquisition, have been chronicled in Fortune Magazine, the New York Times, and S&D Executive’s “Pro’s to Know.”
Jeff graduated summa cum laude with an undergraduate degree in Business Economics from the University of California at Los Angeles, and earned his MBA with honors from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
