P. Kelley Dunne :: Chief Executive Officer and Chairman Kelley Dunne was previously Executive Vice President of Operations for Verizon Avenue, the Verizon subsidiary focused on providing bundled communications services to concentrated communities nationwide. Mr. Dunne’s responsibilities included leadership of Network Operations, Program Management, Customer Care, and Field Operations for Verizon’s MDU and concentrated community markets. He led Verizon into four new markets during his time there: Native American reservations, military housing, affordable housing, and rural broadband, for which he was also responsible for designing and leading Verizon’s nationwide trials. Previously, Mr. Dunne held positions as Vice President of HR, Vice President of Provisioning and Customer Care, and Director of Carrier Services at OnePoint Communications prior to Verizon’s acquisition of OnePoint for $350 million in 2000. Mr. Dunne has over 15 years experience in the field of telecommunications, including 7 years with AT&T and Bell Labs, where he held management positions in Network Operations, Data Network Planning, and Network Security. In addition, Mr. Dunne served as an enlisted serviceman and later as an Army Officer in the US Army’s Signal Corps. Mr. Dunne received his BS degree in Communications Systems Management from Ohio University and his MS degree in Information and Communications Sciences from Ball State University.
John Butler :: Chief Operating Officer and President
John Butler joined the company in January 2009. Mr. Butler has responsibility for finance, accounting, strategy, and financial planning for DigitalBridge. He spent the past four years as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Clearwire Corporation. While at Clearwire, he supported the company’s growth from 9,000 subscribers in 2005 to over 470,000 subscribers in the fourth quarter of 2008, and assisted in the raising of over $6 billion in financing, most recently helping to facilitate the $3.2 billion investment from strategic investors including Intel, Google, Comcast, and Time Warner.
Prior to Clearwire, Mr. Butler had over 14 years of experience in the finance and telecommunications industries. Mr. Butler served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Valor Communications Group Inc., from March 2000 to March 2005. Before joining Valor Communications Group, Butler served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Commonwealth Telephone Enterprises, Inc. from 1998 to 2000. Prior to 1998, he served as a Director of First Union Capital Markets (Wachovia) in the Media and Communications Group. Mr. Butler began his career at Arthur Andersen & Co. and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
William F. Wallace :: Executive Vice President of Regulatory Affairs
William Wallace was most recently the Chief Executive Officer of Verizon Avenue, the Verizon subsidiary focused on providing bundled communications services to concentrated communities nationwide. As the market leader, Verizon Avenue had in excess of one million apartment/co-op/condo units under contract. Verizon Avenue was formed when Verizon purchased OnePoint Communications in 2000 and merged it with existing multi-dwelling units from Bell Atlantic and GTE. Mr. Wallace co-founded OnePoint in 1996 as a Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) focused on the MDU market. Prior to founding OnePoint, he was COO of Gemini Consulting and leader of its Telecommunications practice, which he co-founded and grew from $10 million to $100 million over a five-year period. He is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Business School.
Doug Smith :: Chief Technology Officer
Doug Smith joins DigitalBridge Communications from AOL where he was Vice President of Business Systems Development responsible for AOL's back-office and online advertising systems. Before joining AOL, Doug was an IT Senior Director for Von Holtzbrink Publishing Services where he was responsible for the company’s back-office infrastructure and data warehousing. Doug has over 18 years of IT and management experience.
