Dr. Ryan founded Continental Link Information Systems, a information technology consulting company, in 1995 and remained as Chairman & CEO until 1999, when he became Executive Vice-President & Chief Technology Officer of Cambridge-based InfraReDx, Inc., a developer of interventional devices designed to detect vulnerable plaque. Dr. Ryan is co-author of four issued patents and several medical publications.

Jing Tang, M.D., Ph.D., Chief Scientist
Dr. Tang has over 16 years of experience in research and development for medical device applications. He has 15 year of clinical experience in general and vascular surgery. After finishing his medical education and surgical residency in China, he spent more than 7 years in France continuing his surgical practices and medical research. He earned his PhD degree in biomedical engineering from University Montpellier I, France. Dr. Tang has more than 10 US patents and has written over 80 medical publications.

Managing Director of CorNova, GmbH Mr. Baums has extensive experience in the sales and marketing of cardiology products through Europe and other key international markets. Mr. Baums most recently served as the Managing Director of Meomedical, GmbH, a Germany-based company marketing angioplasty balloons and stent systems. He has also directed sales for Medtronic and helped to introduce some of the first stent systems into Europe. He completed his Business Management education at Frankfurt and Mainz, Germany and in Pharmaceutical Sales from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Hamburg, Germany.
Miguel Ferro, M.B.A., Vice-President & General Manager – Latin America
Mr. Ferro is a highly respected sales and marketing professional for interventional products in Latin America. Mr. Ferro has previously directed sales for Medtronic, Endosonics, and Jomed. He has also served as a marketing consultant to some development-stage companies promoting innovative products in interventional cardiology. He earned his Master in Business Administration at IAE, Universidad Austral, Buenos Aires Argentina and has a Agronomy Engineer Degree from Universidad Nacional de Lomas de Zamora, Argentina.

Mr. Looney was most recently the President of Atrox Technologies Corporation, an engineering services company. His areas of expertise include product development, automation system design, robotics, precision liquid handling, genomics processing, and machine vision inspection. His experience includes medical devices, genomics research, aseptic machine design, and genomics/drug discovery instrumentation design. He earned his M.B.A from Suffolk University, his M.S. in mechanical engineering from Northeastern University, and a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
Steven Slavsky, M.B.A., Vice-President of Business Development
Mr. Slavsky has over 25 years of experience in product development. He specializes in technology-driven products. Steve has worked extensively in the development of alternative energies, material purification processing and process automation. He led his own design firm for 10 years, involved in such diverse areas micro-gravity, kinesiology, medical devices, robotics, machine tools, quick transaction credit cards, fuel cells, hydrogen generation, networking, water purification, chemical processing, remote learning, superconductivity, security, RFID, and furniture design. Steve has a BS in mechanical engineering and an MBA in high technology, both from Northeastern University.
Matthew Flinders, JD, MS Corporate Patent Counsel
Mr. Flinders is a registered patent attorney with experience in the patenting and development of products including automated medical test and analysis equipment. Mr. Flinders' experience includes extensive work in fiber optics, opto-electronics, and other leading-edge technologies. Mr. Flinders worked primarily as a senior software developer in the industry before starting work in patent prosecution in 2002, after which Mr. Flinders earned his law degree at Suffolk University Law School. While at Suffolk, Mr. Flinders focused in patent and other intellectual property matters. Mr. Flinders' education includes a Bachelor of Arts in physics from Hartwick College, a Master of Science in mathematics from Syracuse University, and a Master of Science in computer science from Boston University.
