Morgan Norman - CEO & Co-founder
Morgan is responsible for WorkSimple's business strategy, revenue, and marketing of our platform. He brings more than 10 years of experience in enterprise and SMB sales and marketing. Morgan joined WorkSimple from WageWorks where as VP of Enterprise and SMB sales he helped grow revenues from $43M to $103M. Prior to WageWorks, Morgan was the Sr. Director WorldWide Field and Inside Sales Operations at Ixia Communications where he built the global field and inside sales, and field marketing teams to help grow revenues from $63M to $173M. Prior to Ixia, Morgan held sales and marketing roles at CrossWorlds Software (acquired by IBM), Determine Software (acquired by Selectica), and diCarta (acquired by Emptoris). He began his technology career at Siebel Systems and holds a BA degree from Cal Poly State University San Luis Obispo.
Ben Moore - CTO & Co-founder
Ben is responsible for overseeing the design and architecture of the WorkSimple platform. He brings experience in building highly reliable and scalable on demand enterprise and social platforms. Ben was most recently CTO & Co-Founder of Curbly. Ben has spent the majority of his career building employee facing on demand applications. He was part of the development and product management team for Gelco an on demand Expense Management System (acquired by Concur). He was also part of the development team that designed and built the Consumer-Driven Healthcare systems at Definity Health (acquired by UHC). Ben holds a master's in software engineering from the University of Minnesota and a bachelor's degree from St. Olaf College.

Ron was founder, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Nuance Communications. Nuance is the global leader in voice automation technology and applications, providing software and solutions based on the technologies of speech recognition, speech synthesis and speaker verification. Ron is currently a member of the Board of Directors of ForaTV (smart internet video), Sidestripe (social search) and Snapbomb (blog marketing). Ron served as a Board member of Logitech, the maker of computer mice, control devices and peripherals, from 2001 to 2004. Ron earned a J.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a B.A. from Tufts University.
Tom Proulx
As the author of Quicken and co-founder of Intuit, which he started during his senior year at Stanford University in 1983, Tom is a pioneer in the consumer software products industry. After retiring from Intuit in 1994, Tom worked briefly in the political arena on behalf of California’s technology industries, co-chairing the statewide "No on Proposition 211" campaign in 1996 which achieved a crushing 3-1 defeat of the anti-business ballot initiative. Tom now spends his time advising and coaching entrepreneurs in technology startup companies. He has been a director on the boards of numerous tech startups and is currently serving on the boards of iControl, PlumChoice, and NetBooks, and he is Chairman of Netpulse. Tom is a 1992 recipient of the Inc. Magazine Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Tom holds a BS in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science from Stanford University.
Steve Goldberg
Widely considered an HR thought leader and solution innovator, Steve was Global Head, HR Technology and Talent Management for four major investment banks in the 80’s and 90’s before becoming PeopleSoft’s overall head of Product Strategy for the HR Product Line. In that capacity, Steve drove product plans and priorities, led M&A and partnering activities, and served as global spokesperson with customers, analysts and media operatives. Invited to the Human Capital Institute's “2009 Executive Roundtable of 10 Respected HR Thought Leaders”, Steve is often published in HR Executive and Workforce Management magazines, and has been cited in many other business and media outlets around the world. Since 2003, he has been advising HR solution providers in the U.S., Europe, Australia and India, with engagements ranging from Board Advisor appointments to guiding companies in product launches and M&A activities. He holds an MBA in HR from S.U.N.Y. Buffalo and a BBA in Industrial Psychology from Bernard Baruch Business School. He has lived and worked on 3 continents.
