TurboSquid is the world’s leading seller of 3D Models and 3D Software Plug-ins. The company was founded in 2000, and has kept its small company mindset of cooperation and teamwork. Our home office is in downtown New Orleans, but our business is completely online and web-based.
The work is challenging; the team is bright. It’s a chance to be a part of the New Orleans recovery, but to work for a company that could be anywhere. The company’s core business is supplying a platform and marketplace to the 3D artist community. On the selling side, thousands of 3D artists upload and publish their work as “stock 3D” products, much like how Getty Images sells stock photography. On the buying side are a million registered members who purchase the files with credit cards and complete the transaction by downloading the products. Of the money that flows into its bank account from these electronic processes, TurboSquid takes 50% of the sale price and pays the rest out as a monthly royalty to the artists.
Benefits
Benefits include competitive salary, medical insurance with company contribution, Flex Savings Account and Health Spending Account available, paid long term disability insurance, 401k match, stock options, supplemental insurances available (dental, life, short term disability, etc.,) 15 days of paid time off annually, 9 company holidays, flex time and telecommuting available, stocked kitchen, casual dress code, quarterly staff events, regular performance feedback, and 1 week paid maternity/paternity leave . Attendance at Mardi Gras is optional, but highly recommended.

Matt Wisdom, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder
In April, 2000, Matt co-founded TurboSquid to solve the problem of how to buy and sell 3D models. Serving initially as the company's Chief Technology Officer, Matt led the team that designed and managed the technology platform. He took on other operational responsibility in 2002, and in 2006 was promoted to the CEO role.
Matt entered the 3D industry in 1994 immediately following graduation from Brown University. He was a founding partner, animator, and senior producer of 3D visual effects for Chimera Digital Imaging. During that time he produced hundreds of animations and effects for television commercials and legal trials.
He is a director on the TurboSquid's board as well as other non-profit boards and philanthropic organizations. Matt has won numerous awards, and has been interviewed by various news outlets like CNN. He enjoys public speaking and loves being in New Orleans for the city's rebirth.
Michele Bousquet, Vice President, Marketing
Michele Bousquet came to TurboSquid in 2007 with a well-rounded background in graphics, marketing, and technology. After hearing that those computers would be big stuff someday, Michele got a degree in Computer Science from McGill University in 1983. But after five years in database programming, she discovered that she lacked an important attribute for success as a programmer
