Farid Nemati, Chief Technical Officer
Farid Nemati, Founder and CTO, is the primary inventor of T-RAM Semiconductor's Thyristor-RAM memory.
He received his B.S. in electrical engineering at Iran's Sharif University of Technology and his M.S.and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. While at Stanford University, he invented the TCCT™ and Thyristor-RAM; a novel semiconductor memory technology that breaks through the performance and density barriers of conventional memories. Upon graduation, Farid co-founded T-RAM Semiconductor, Inc. to develop and commercialize the Thyristor-RAM technology.
Scott Robins, Vice President of Technology
Scott Robins leads the technology development efforts at T-RAM Semiconductor, drawing on his 20+ years experience in developing semiconductor technologies.
Scott most recently served as Director of Fab Technology for Cirrus Logic, where he managed the technical interface to all of Cirrus's foundries down to 0.18μm. Prior to Cirrus, Scott spent several years at Cypress Semiconductor, in various roles including principal engineer and senior manager, and at AMD / MMI in various engineering roles. Scott has developed over a dozen semiconductor technologies to high volume production during his career, including six high speed RAM technologies for Cypress.
Scott holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
