Dr. Aleks Göllü, CEO
Aleks Gollu is the co-founder of PINC Solutions, and has served as the Chief Executive Officer since 2004. Through the end of 2003, Dr. Gollu was VP of Product and Services Marketing at Telecommunication Systems (TSYS), which he joined in 2002 through its acquisition of OTelNet, a company he co-founded in 1998. At OTelNet, a venture-backed startup company in the telecom software market, he was VP of Engineering and Corporate Development and a member of the Board of Directors. He was instrumental in establishing Verizon, Vodafone, and T-Mobile as the company’s tier-1 customers, which ultimately led to its successful exit. Prior to OTelNet, his industry experience includes positions at Sapient, Oracle, and Teknekron Communication Systems. Dr. Gollu holds a BS degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and MS and Ph.D. degrees from University of California, Berkeley, all in EECS. He holds 3 patents.
Dr. Michelle Meng-Hsiung Kiang, Vice President of Marketing
Michelle Kiang is the co-founder of PINC Solutions, and is responsible for marketing and product strategy for the company. Michelle has nearly two decades of experience in R&D, product management and marketing for IT, communications, and semiconductors industries, most recently as Director of Strategic Planning and Business Operations at Micron Technology, heading the development of new business initiatives for the billion-dollar image sensor business unit. Her previous experience included co-founding Onix Microsystems, a leading optical networking system provider, where she served as VP Business Development and Product Management.
Dr. Kiang has authored numerous journal papers and articles, and is a frequent contributor to the leading supply chain and logistics industry publications. Michelle holds 11 issued patents, including those covering real-time location systems and technologies. She holds the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in EECS from UC Berkeley, and the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University. She was also the recipient of D. J. Sakrison Memorial Award from UC Berkley.
Aimee Tang, Vice President of Professional Services
As Vice President of Professional Services, Aimee Tang is responsible for ensuring the highest level of satisfaction of our customers with our products and services. As part of this mission, she oversees PINC’s efforts in project and release management, customer services and quality assurance. Ms. Tang has more than 15 years of experience in software engineering, engineering management and professional services. Prior to joining PINC, she was Director of Engineering at NightFire Software (acquired by NeuStar, Inc.), where she managed the development of intersystem service management platforms for the telecommunication industry. Ms. Tang represented NightFire in TeleManagement Forum, the world’s industry association of web, telecom and media companies focused on end-to-end service management. She collaborated with companies from six different countries to develop, integrate and deliver the World Ordering B2B Exchange DSL catalyst demo at TeleManagement World 2001. Previously, she worked as Program Manager, Project Manager and Senior Software Engineer at TCSI Corporation, a provider of network management solutions.
Ms. Tang holds a BS degree in Computer Science from University of California, Berkeley.
Rick Mizzo, Vice President of Operations
Mr. Mizzo has over 30 years of experience in manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, logistics, transportation and warehousing operations for both consumer goods and wholesale grocery operations. Prior to joining PINC, he was Vice President of Global Operations at Corgi International Ltd., a consumer goods toy and gift company where he oversaw a global supply chain with engineering and manufacturing operations in Asia with worldwide distribution.
A 30 year veteran in Supply Chain, Mizzo has held executive titles as COO/EVP at Pacific American Services, Director at Summit Logistics, EVP at Pacific Warehouse Company and EVP at Bunzl Foodservice.
As Vice President of Operations, Rick Mizzo is responsible for all Supply Chain functions at PINC as well as best practices and fast ROI with our solutions at our customers.
Mr. Mizzo holds a BA degree in Economics from the University of California at Los Angeles.
