Position Overview: Based in Mountain View the Product Manager will be responsible for owning the Plastic Jungle marketplace product. This includes understanding business and customer needs developing and driving a product roadmap and specifications and tracking success. This is a Sr Mgr / Director level position.

Gary Briggs
CEO
Gary joined the Board of Plastic Jungle in May 2008 and was appointed CEO in November 2008.
Prior to Plastic Jungle, Gary served as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at eBay. He was responsible for eBay's branding and marketing activities in North America, including advertising, Internet marketing, direct marketing, onsite merchandising, partner relationships, and core category initiatives. In his six-year career at eBay, Gary held other positions including VP of Consumer Marketing for eBay U.S., VP of Global Marketing for PayPal, and General Manager for eBay Canada.
Prior to eBay, Gary was a founder of OurHouse, Inc., an e-commerce company partnered with Ace Hardware. Before this venture, he was Director of Worldwide Brand Strategy for IBM Corporation where he was responsible for the Company's brand positioning and cross-corporate marketing integration. While at IBM, he co-authored the marketing strategy for the company's "e-business" campaign.
Before joining IBM, Gary worked for six years at Pepsi-Cola, most recently as Marketing Director responsible for brand strategy, advertising and sports marketing for the Pepsi brand. In addition, while at Pepsi he developed a joint venture with the Starbucks Coffee Company and Pepsi's bottled water product, Aquafina. Prior to Pepsi, Gary worked for four years at McKinsey and Company as an associate and engagement manager.
Gary also serves on the Board of Ice.com. He graduated in 1984 from Brown University with a B.A. in Political Science and American Civilization. In 1989, he received his M.B.A. from J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University.

Bruce Bower
President
Bruce was introduced to Plastic Jungle in December 2008 and joined in April 2009.
For more than 20 years, Bruce has been contributing to early and mid stage technology enterprises. His management experience spans the payments, media, education, and alternate energy markets, with a particular emphasis on new business and international markets development.
Most recently, Bruce served as Chief Executive Officer of Amelio Solar, a developer of thin film photo-voltaic projects, and prior to that led International and Business and Corporate Development for Blackhawk Network, the largest third party distributor of gift cards in the world. Bruce also has served as Chief Executive Officer of Soliloquy Learning and as the President and SVP/General Manager of LearningGate and the educational media division of ZapMe!
Bruce also serves as a director or senior advisor to a number of companies in the payments space, including KargoKard, Radical Payments, CareScout and Visa. He is a frequent speaker on a variety of new market concepts, including global payments and e-commerce strategies for emerging businesses.
Bruce began his career practicing law with Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati. He graduated in 1984 from Brown University with a B.A. in International Relations. In 1988, he received his law degree from University of Virginia.

Dave Worthington
Chief Financial Officer
Dave began working with Plastic Jungle in January 2008 and officially came on board to run finance and operations in April 2009.
During the past 30 years, Dave has served as chief financial officer for companies in varied industries ranging from enterprise security software to technologically advanced telecom circuitry, irrigation products, industrial supplies, and military-application tape recorders.
In the companies he has worked with, he has been responsible for corporate acquisitions, mergers, the sourcing of expansion capital, and securities registration and reporting of public companies. In addition, his expertise includes managing the integration of merged companies and the implementation of advanced financial systems.
Dave holds an M.B.A. in Finance from University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from San Jose State University.
His favorite Plastic Jungle experience: Telling his son-in-law about discounted Northern Tool gift cards, and getting free car repairs in return.
Ashmit Bhattacharya
Chief Technology Officer
Ashmit was introduced to Plastic Jungle in December 2008 and joined in May 2009.
Most recently, Ashmit founded Radical Payment Solutions, which provides technology and domain advisory services in the area of electronic payments. Radical is also developing the infrastructure to facilitate "retail ready" prepaid payment solutions in India and the GCC.
Previously, Ashmit was Vice President of Engineering at Blackhawk Network where he was responsible for defining and implementing the technology roadmap for the organization. His teams built the merchant acquiring infrastructure at Blackhawk including high transaction payment switches, real time settlement systems and transaction acquiring interfaces over POS, web and mobile. The systems and processes supported well over 80,000 retail outlets in 5 countries with 99.9% service availability.
Prior to this, Ashmit held leadership positions in technology at Safeway.com, eBenefits and GE.
He serves as an advisor to companies engaged in electronic payments, including KargoCard and Electra Card Services. Ashmit holds a BE from Mangalore University, India.
His favorite Plastic Jungle experience: Selling a bunch of low value gift cards received at corporate functions and holiday parties over 2 years to buy Amazon credits to purchase much needed cycling gear at a 10% discount.
Steve Grove
Director of Product and User Experience
Steve joined Plastic Jungle in August 2009.
Most recently, Steve ran the ad network business at SourceForge, the world's largest directory of open source software.
Prior, Steve spent 7 years at eBay where he had a variety of positions. Most recently, he was General Manager of eBay's buyer activity business unit. There he was responsible for eBay's global search, merchandising, and My eBay features among others. Steve was also eBay's first user interface designer where he helped to drive some of eBay's biggest successes - eBay Motors and Fixed Price initiatives.
Previously, Steve led the design for Oracle's CRM application suite. He holds a Certificate of Usability Engineering from University of Michigan and BA of General Design from San Jose State University.

Kristin (Cunningham) Donelson
Director of Marketing
Kristin joined Plastic Jungle in May 2009.
An eBay alum, Kristin was the Founder and General Manager of eBay Giving Works - eBay's program focused on connecting people to the causes they care about through a variety of convenient and trusted giving opportunities. In her previous role at eBay, she was responsible for the company's strategic relationships with AOL Time Warner and Microsoft, which brought millions of new users to the eBay site through internet marketing, traditional advertising, and new business development.
Prior to joining eBay, Kristin ran partner marketing for Beyond.com and began her career at Mercer Management Consulting. She holds a BA in Psychology from Stanford University.
