Kevin Hartz is Co-Founder & CEO of Eventbrite, a company changing the way events come together online, and happen offline. Kevin was previously Co-Founder and CEO of Xoom Corporation, an international money transfer company, servicing more than 40 countries worldwide. Xoom is backed by Sequoia Capital, NEA, Fidelity Ventures, Stanford University, and Peter Thiel.
Kevin began his career as a product manager and later co-founded ConnectGroup, a start-up providing high-speed Internet access to the hotel industry. ConnectGroup was acquired by Lodgenet (NASDAQ: LNET).
Kevin holds a BA and BS from Stanford University, as well as an MA from Oxford University (University College).
He has been an active early stage investor and advisor to start-ups including PayPal, Geni, Friendster, TripIt, Flixster, Adnectar, Yammer, TokBox, iControl, Boku, Flexilis, Anonymizer, and Trulia, and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Xoom, Flexilis, and TokBox (observer). Julia serves as Co-Founder & President of Eventbrite and is responsible for the overall vision and strategy of the company.
Julia is a reformed Television Network Executive and comes to Eventbrite by way of Hollywood. During her tenure in the television industry, Julia was a creative executive at FX Networks and helped supervise The Shield, Nascar Drivers: 360, Nip/Tuck, Rescue Me and It's Always Sunny in Philidelphia.
Prior to FX Networks, Julia worked in creative development at MTV Networks where she was fortunate enough to work on several prolific shows such as Jackass. Julia brings the creativity and energy of the entertainment business to Eventbrite, leading the company with innovative thinking and a keen sense of the consumer audience.
Julia holds a BA from Pepperdine University. Julia lives in San Francisco with her husband, Kevin, and young daughter.
Renaud Visage, Co-Founder & CTO renaud[at]eventbrite.com
Renaud is the technical architect of Eventbrite and responsible for engineering, product development, and network operations.
Renaud started his career as an environmental consultant with Geomatrix Consultants where he designed and managed large-scale environmental cleanups. Fascinated by the Internet, Renaud joined, as the Director of Engineering, Internet photo-sharing pioneer, Zing Networks which was funded by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and later acquired by Sony ImageStation.
Renaud is also an accomplished architectural and travel photographer. His work is represented by various stock photo agencies around the world like Getty Images, Age Fotostock or Alamy. His work has been used in magazines, books, movies, brochures and advertisements in more than 20 countries. A portfolio of his work can be seen on his photography web site.
Renaud has a Master of Engineering from Cornell University and from Ecole Centrale de Lyon (France).

As Director of Product, Julie is responsible for overall direction and design of Eventbrite.
Julie has over eight years experience managing a variety of software products from conception to release. She started her career as a software engineer and moved into product management to improve communications between customers, engineers and business teams. Julie made her leap to product management while working for Elemental Software, a startup which Macromedia acquired in 1999. At Macromedia she was a Senior Product Manager responsible for major product releases on both the Dreamweaver and Flash product lines. Later, Julie joined Apple as Product Manager of Shake in Apple's Pro Apps Division.
Julie holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from University of California, San Diego and a master's degree from Columbia University.
Daniel Woods, VP of Engineering daniel[at]eventbrite.com
Daniel is a veteran internet technical executive having built and led engineering teams and driven technical strategy at Yahoo! Inc., eGroups, Invisible Worlds, PLATINUM, and SGI.
He joins Eventbrite after nine years at Yahoo! where he was a leader in the strategy, definition and delivery of Yahoo!'s industry leading mobile internet services including mail, search, advertising, news, finance, news and weather. The internet virus invaded Daniel's system during his tenure at Silicon Graphics where his team released CosmoPlayer, an award winning browser plugin for 3D graphics.
Always seeking new challenges and to learn new things, Daniel's career has included work in the fields of medical imaging, geophysical modeling, chip design, video encoding, computational chemistry, XML databases, high performance computing and 3D graphics. Daniel has been meeting the challenges involved in delivering always-on internet products, services and infrastructure for over 10 years. Daniel works to build, participate in and lead groups with a creative, productive, high quality, accountable and fun culture and to deliver great infrastructure, products, services and user experiences.
Daniel dreams of making the list of "top 5 golfers in the world named Woods" and has a Masters and PhD in Mathematical Sciences from Rice University.
Patrick Breitenbach, Director of Service & Operations pb[at]eventbrite.com
Patrick is responsible for Eventbrite's customer service, API platform and payment processing.
Patrick is an expert in the online payments industry. He joins Eventbrite from PayPal where he was an early employee. Patrick spear-headed PayPal's "off-eBay" business, handled developer relations and had roles in product management, business development and sales. Prior to that, he worked for American Express in New York where he worked in credit card marketing and product development. Patrick worked on American Express' very first web site as well as the launch of online banking and brokerage services.
Patrick graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a BA in Business Economics. He was member of the Gaucho football team and worked at the award-winning Daily Nexus newspaper.
Patrick lives in San Francisco with his wife, Kattya, and two dogs, Cheeko and Frankie. They own the Cheeko B Pet Boutique in Union Square.
Nels Gilbreth, Director of Finance nels[at]eventbrite.com
Nels is responsible for analytics, finance and colorful bar charts.
Nels first got started in finance at Ziff Brothers Investments, a New York based hedge fund. In their risk management department he drew on his experience in the sciences to develop financial models and recommend equity and derivative trades. He also generated various financial reports and metrics used to gauge the performance and risk of the overall fund. Later he was hired by Lehman Brothers where he executed interest rate product trades for institutional investors.
Nels holds a B.A. in physics from Colgate University and a masters (MPhil) in physics from Cambridge University (Trinity Hall). Nels has passed the Series 7, has a scuba diving certification, holds 3 US Sailing certifications, has a Private Pilot's license and a current drivers license.

Tom is responsible for leading and growing Eventbrite's sales organization.
Tom started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP where he ran multiple engagements for a variety of public and private clients in the technology and financial services sectors. During his tenure at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Tom spent his nights, weekends and vacations founding a series of successful screen printing and design companies that each focused on serving specific niche markets.
In 2007, Tom went on to co-found the online event registration company, MadeIt.com where he was responsible for implementing the company's sales infrastructure. He is now leveraging his knowledge of sales in the online events space to significantly contribute to Eventbrite's growth.
Tom holds a BA in Business Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara.

Tamara loves live music events and tech events focused on positive social change.
Tamara leads marketing for Eventbrite; focusing on customer acquisition, retention, and branding. She is passionate about spreading the good word for Eventbrite and the magic of bringing people together through events. She is equally obsessed with the power of social media and believes that technology changes everything.
Prior to Eventbrite, Tamara was a senior analyst with Forrester Research, an independent technology research and consulting firm. As an expert on eCommerce technology, multichannel retail, and trends in how consumers integrate technology into shopping, Tamara authored research reports and worked with both retailers and technology vendors to help them shape their strategies. She spoke regularly at industry events, sat on the advisory boards of several industry associations, and has been quoted in top newspapers and journals.
Tamara is a graduate of MIT Sloan School of Management and received her bachelor's degree in comparative literature and economics from Wellesley College.
