John Dean Chief Executive Officer
John Dean is the Chief Executive Officer of Velomedix, Inc. Mr. Dean began his medical device career with Boston Scientific Corporation in 1991 and over the next 18 years held positions of increasing responsibility in sales, marketing and general management. His career with BSC included experience in Cardiology, Interventional Radiology, Oncology, and Vascular Surgery. Prior to joining Velomedix as CEO in 2008, Mr. Dean ran several early stage businesses for Boston Scientific including Cryovascular Systems, Endotex Interventional and Embolic Protection Inc. in the Silicon Valley area.
Griffeth Tully, M.D. Chief Medical Officer
Griffeth Tully, M.D. is the Chief Medical Officer of Velomedix, Inc. Dr. Tully joined Velomedix from Boston Scientific Corporation where he served as Medical Director from 2001 to 2009 where, in addition to his on to senior management roles, his therapeutic focus areas included interventional cardiology, acute ischemic stroke, and cardiac arrest. Prior to joining Boston Scientific Corporation, Dr. Tully was Medical Director at Embolic Protection Incorporated (2001-2002). Dr. Tully is a licensed and board certified emergency physician and holds an M.D. from New York Medical College and a B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley.
Greg Hall, Ph.D.Vice President of Research & Development
Greg Hall, Ph.D. has served as VP of R&D since the inception of Velomedix. Prior to Velomedix, Greg was VP of R&D for TheraNova LLC, a medical device incubator, and Hantel Technologies, a contract design and manufacturing firm. He has also served as a systems engineer and biomechanics engineer for Revivant Corporation and Exponent. Dr. Hall holds engineering degrees from Rose Hulman Institute of Technology (BS ME, magna cum laude), Clemson University (Masters Bioengineering 4.0/4.0 GPA), and the University of Virginia (Ph.D. ME).
