PALO ALTO CA - November 30 2009 - Immunet the developer of next generation AntiVirus technologies today announced the signing of an exclusive distribution agreement with Tokyo based SecureBrain Corporation for the distribution of Immunet Protect Cloud AntiVirus software in the Japanese market.
Effective immediately SecureBrain will distribute gred AV accelerator a version of Immunet Protect AntiVirus software localized for the Japanese market.

Oliver Friedrichs - Founder and CEO
Prior to Immunet, Oliver spent six years at Symantec, the producers of Norton AntiVirus, serving as Director, Emerging Technologies. In this role he managed Symantec Advanced Threat Research and oversaw the delivery of new technologies to automate the generation of AntiVirus detections.
Oliver served as co-founder at SecurityFocus until the company's acquisition by Symantec in 2002, building the industry's first early warning technology for Internet attacks, the DeepSight Threat Management System. Prior to SecurityFocus, Oliver served as co-founder and Vice President of Engineering at Secure Networks, Inc., acquired by McAfee in 1998. At Secure Networks, he architected and managed the development of CyberCop Scanner. Oliver architected and developed a prototype of the industry's first commercial penetration testing product, codenamed SNIPER, acquired by Core Security Technologies in 2001 and further developed to become CORE IMPACT, the market leader for automated penetration testing. Oliver has over 15 years of expertise in security technologies and has shared his expertise with many organizations, including the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Secret Service, the IRS, the DOD, NASA, AFOSI, and the Canadian DND. Oliver attended the University of Manitoba, has had several security-related patents issued and is also the co-author of three security related books.
Alfred Huger - Vice President, Engineering
Alfred Huger is a respected figure in the computer security industry. Best known as a founder of two successful start-up companies pioneering leading edge computer security technologies, Alfred has also held executive leadership positions at global technology companies including Mcafee and Symantec.
Most recently as a Vice President of Engineering at Symantec Alfred was responsible for Symantec's automated malware response infrastructure which collected, analyzed and built protections for millions of software threats a year. Alfred also led the delivery of Symantec's first foray into the Software as a Service (SaaS) market with the Symantec Protection Network (www.spn.com) platform.

Dr. Adam O'Donnell - Director, Cloud Engineering
Dr. O'Donnell is responsible for the architecture and development of Immunet's cloud AntiVirus infrastructure. Dr. O'Donnell joined Immunet from Cloudmark, an anti-messaging abuse company, where he served as Director of Emerging Technologies. At Cloudmark, O'Donnell developed a number of technologies for filtering spam, including new techniques for eliminating spam on social networks.
Prior to Cloudmark, O'Donnell also held positions at managed security services firms Guardent and The Logan Group. O'Donnell has contributed to several books, including Building Open Source Network Security Tools, and has served as a contributor to IEEE Security and Privacy and the ZDNet Zero Day blog. O'Donnell is frequently quoted by leading publications such as USA Today and the Wall Street Journal.
Dr. O'Donnell completed his Ph.D. as a NSF Graduate Research Fellow in Drexel University's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
