JOB-NASUNI-005 - Test Automation Engineer
Nasuni is seeking an individual to join our small tight-knit team working on a next generation storage system. Were looking for someone who shares our high standards for quality performance reliability and user experience. This person will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex automated tests - everything from low level unit tests large scale performance tests as well as user interface test automation.
Candidates must be proficient in Python programming.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that the virtual storage appliance is thoroughly tested end to end.
- Assist in creation of and maintenance of the automated testing framework.
- Assist in the maintenance and expansion of the internal Python-based testing libraries.
- Help identify areas where instrumentation and hooks can be added to the product to help testing.
- Write and own large potentially complex tests for the Linux based virtual appliance.
- Automate the deployment and provisioning of virtual machines both locally and remotely.
- Automate Windows OS/X and Linux based client tests.
- Automation of web-based User Interface tests.
- Debug product test and test tool failures.
- Write detailed product defects that lead to rapid defect fixing
- Remain informed on new strategies and technology keeping the test framework(s) up to date.
Requirements
Must haves:
- Significant experience manipulating file systems using Python
- Significant experience writing automated tests for complex Linux/Unix systems
- Experience writing automated tests for Windows based systems
- Experience with common Python test frameworks (unittest Nose or py.test)
- Experience with VMWare and VM automation.
- Experience using common Web UI automation tools such as Selenium or Windmill
The right candidate has:
- Minimum 2-5 years software QA or Development experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Excellent work ethic and attention to detail. Very organized.
- Proactive and able to thrive with minimal supervision

JOB-NASUNI-008 - Inside Sales Representative (Account Manager)
The Account Manager will be the first front-line team member of a rapidly expanding direct sales effort. Our newest business team member will be responsible for the complete sales process from qualification and some lead generation to close. Candidates should have proven success selling SasS or some other comparable service with a similar price-point to our current offering.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly/quarterly revenue and new account targets
- Drive revenue by closing sales directly via phone and with channel partners
- Develop and improve “benefit statements” “elevator pitches” and “battle cards”
- Keep all required lead/prospect/account/contact information current in the salesforce.com database
- Proactively seek customers by daily lead follow-up/cold calling for new accounts
- Stay current with SaaS and storage technology (cloud & SAN) content and competition
Need to have
- 3-5 years of inside sales experience in the software industry meeting/exceeding monthly/quarterly/annual sales goals (No 15 year veterans please!)
- Knowledge of Salesforce.com
- Experience with the complete sales cycle over the phone (lead generation prospecting qualification selling and closing)
- Strong work ethic ability to adapt to rapid changes in market and customer focus and the intelligence to give appropriate and thoughtful feedback to management
- The ability to work daily in Natick MA
Nice to have
- Storage/NAS sales experience

JOB-NASUNI-010 - Sales Engineer
The Sales Engineer will work with prospective customers and partners to shorten the sales cycle by overcoming technical hurdles. The successful candidate will possess strong technical experience with a focus in storage and virtualization. The ideal candidate must be able to communicate complicated technical material to audiences of all technical levels.
Responsibilities
- Working with inside sales representatives on joint account calls webinars and account planning.
- Interfacing with various customers at both a business and a technical level and proposing viable solutions in real time during customer meetings.
- Teaming with other Sales team members to share knowledge and best practices to advance the sales of our products and technologies.
- Assisting Services & Support and QA as needed with reproducing specific client issues in–house for faster resolution as well as conducting pre–release testing
- Assisting with the development of our channel partners. This may include conducting joint account calls updating their technical staff on new products and features and working with them to develop solutions for customers.
- Develop presentations battle cards use cases and other technical sales/marketing collateral as required.
- Able to handle multiple opportunities in a faced paced environment.
- Participate at trade events seminars and user groups as required.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Software Vendor IT Consulting or Systems Integration environment. Direct sales is a plus.
- Hands–on experience with server operating systems (i.e. Windows Sun Linux) NAS software and hardware as well as tiered storage environments.
- VMware experience required.
- Experience supporting sales to mid-market IT organizations
- Self–starter that manages time and activities with little day–to–day guidance or interaction from management.
- Excellent listening skills resulting in a high level of customer satisfaction; must be able to identify opportunities as well as potential technical hurdles.
- Excellent presentation skills

Nasuni is currently looking for an intelligent enthusiastic and outgoing individual to join the Nasuni team. The ideal candidate is part salesman part analyst part engineer and wholly determined to learn and develop in their next job.
Nasuni is a venture backed company in Natick MA. Working in partnership with trusted cloud storage providers Nasuni delivers unlimited file storage and complete protection from a single virtual file server.
We recently launched the product and are experiencing a dramatic increase in the number of incoming requests from customers and partners. The business development associate will be a critical member of the business team helping to drive a startup from beta through revenue and profitability to exit.
Responsibilities
- Speak with potential customers to understand where they are in the buying process qualify their needs and determine next steps in the sales process
- Work within Salesforce to track information learned from phone calls as well as make improvements and updates to the Salesforce platform to support our changing needs
- Provide feedback to the rest of the go-to-market team regarding customer response to messaging
- Suggest changes and improvements to marketing materials and website content
- Analyze sales process data to improve our strategies and processes
- Excite partners & customers about the Nasuni platform and tell a compelling story
- Develop strong relationships with potential partners & cloud storage vendors which will allow us to work together with them to bring customers to the cloud
