Yossi Cohen President & CEO
Yossi Cohen comes to Symwave after more than 10 years of successful management roles at Broadcom, and most recently managed over 1,000 engineers as Senior Vice President and Group General Manager of the Mobile Platforms Group. Before the Mobile Platforms Group, he was Vice President and General Manager of Broadcom’s Bluetooth Business Unit, responsible for its massive growth into the PC, cell phone, gaming and peripheral segments.
Prior to growing the Bluetooth unit, he initiated the company’s Gigabit controller business and helped drive it to be the market leader within its category. Earlier on, he helped drive a number of other successful businesses at Broadcom, including Fast and Gigabit Ethernet transceivers and switches.
Mr. Cohen also gained valuable M&A experience while at Broadcom, driving or participating in eight strategic acquisitions totaling several billion dollars. Prior to joining Broadcom, he held various management positions at National Semiconductor.
Mr. Cohen holds one issued US Patent, and a BSEE degree from The Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.

Christopher Thomas Founder, Chief Technical Officer
Christopher Thomas co-founded Symwave in 2004 and holds 11 issued or pending patents. With over 13 years of experience in innovative IC design and engineering management in the semiconductor industry, he leads the company’s research efforts and active participation in a number of industry standard groups and forums.
Prior to founding Symwave, Mr. Thomas held engineering management positions in the Digital Infotainment division at Conexant Systems, focusing on Audio and Video products for the PC and set-top box market, and in Motorola’s Core Technology Group, developing wireless baseband ICs for handsets, pagers, and Bluetooth products.

Jun Ye Founder, VP and General Manager – China
Jun Ye co-founded Symwave in 2004 and built its cohesive China team from the ground-up to a multi-discipline organization of over 80 employees today. Mr. Ye has over 15 years of engineering leadership experience in the area of high-speed mixed signal semiconductor design.
During his tenure at Conexant Systems, he led the successful development of several high performance IC products, and became a world-class expert in data converter and PLL technologies.
Mr. Ye is the named inventor of six issued and pending patents, and continues to focus on growing Symwave’s flagship operation in China.

Adam Spice
Chief Financial Officer
Adam Spice brings 14 years of experience in semiconductor Finance, Corporate Development and General Management. Prior to joining Symwave, he spent over 9 years at Broadcom Corporation, most recently serving as the Vice President of Finance and Corporate Development, where he managed the company's corporate finance operations related to its business units, operations, SG&A, corporate development, and strategic planning for over $4 billion of annual revenue and 7,500 employees.
During Mr. Spice's 9 year tenure at Broadcom, he led the financial execution of over 40 acquisitions and strategic equity investments totaling over $6 billion, and served as Corporate Treasurer managing its $3 billion portfolio, risk management, and credit and collections operations. In addition to extensive financial management experience, Mr. Spice served as the Vice President and General Manager of the Power Management IC business at Broadcom. Prior to Broadcom, Mr. Spice held operational senior finance management and corporate development roles at Intel Corporation.
Mr. Spice received a B.Sc. in Finance from Brigham Young University, and an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin.

John O’Neill Vice President of Marketing and Sales
John O’Neill brings to Symwave extensive relevant experience, with a 16 year career in semiconductor engineering and marketing. Prior to joining Symwave, he was the Vice President of Marketing at ClariPhy Communications, a startup developing 10Gb/s Datacom and Telecom transceivers.
Prior to joining ClariPhy, he spent five years at Broadcom as Senior Director of Marketing, and is credited with leading Broadcom’s successful entry into the DSL market. Under his marketing leadership, Broadcom became the #1 worldwide market share provider of DSL and PON system ICs.
Before joining Broadcom, Mr. O’Neill was a product line manager at GlobeSpan Semiconductor and actively participated in their initial product launch and successful IPO. He started his career in product engineering, product applications and product marketing at VTC Inc., a supplier of hard disk drive ICs.
Mr. O’Neill received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois.

Gideon Intrater Vice President of Solutions Architecture
Gideon Intrater brings more than 25 years of experience in the semiconductor market. He is responsible for balancing the company’s marketing and technical objectives, work with customers to define world-leading solutions and ensure robust and differentiated products.
Prior to joining Symwave, he served over 10 years as the Vice President of Solutions Architecture at MIPS Technologies where he was responsible for crafting system-level solutions for MIPS’ customers. His work led to numerous design-wins and a significant portion of the company’s revenue. Mr. Intrater was also responsible for assimilating customer’s needs into MIPS Technologies’ product roadmap.
Prior to MIPS Technologies, he spent 10 years in technical management positions with National Semiconductor Corporation, where he led the CPU and SOC architecture team and later served as a director of the Core Technologies Unit.
Mr. Intrater holds over 20 issued patents and brings a keen understanding of the embedded architecture requirements of digital consumer device designs and the challenges associated with deploying that technology.
He earned BSEE and MSEE degrees from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, and an MBA from San Jose State University.

Craig Stein Vice President of Engineering
Craig Stein brings over 21 years of engineering and management experience, including most recently seven highly successful years at Broadcom. While at Broadcom he personally built and led a team of over 120 software and hardware engineers within the Bluetooth group. In addition to hands-on IC design and validation experience earlier on, Mr. Stein gained valuable worldwide customer interface experience, and under his leadership over 200 customer end-projects were completed and ramped to volume-production.
Prior to Broadcom, he was R&D Manager for HP’s enterprise servers. Prior to HPQ, he was an ASIC designer with VLSI Technology developing Ethernet and other communication ASICs.
Mr. Stein holds a BS from UC Berkeley and MSEE from San Jose State University.

Glen Liang Vice President of Operations
Glen Liang joined Symwave in 2005 and has over 15 years of management and engineering experience in semiconductor test, packaging, and product engineering.
Prior to Symwave, he was Director of Engineering at ASE, a world-leading leading IC packaging powerhouse, where he directed R&D and Operation teams of over 60 development and sustaining engineers. Prior to ASE, Mr. Liang was the Director of Operations at HBA INC, where he established the company’s production flows and successfully qualified the company’s 650 line-items for production readiness.
Prior to HBA, he held management and engineering positions in product and test engineering at Integrated Device Technology (IDT).
Mr. Liang earned a MSEE from Arizona State University.
